Unified Socialist National Council meeting continues today to finalize party’s statute

KATHMANDU, Jan 29: The National Council meeting of CPN (Unified Socialist) is continuing in Kathmandu today as well. The meeting was called on Sunday to discuss the draft statute.

KATHMANDU, Jan 29: The National Council meeting of CPN (Unified Socialist) is continuing in Kathmandu today as well. The meeting was called on Sunday to discuss the draft statute. 


According to party spokesperson Jagannath Khatiwad, more than a thousand representatives are participating in the council meeting. Two members from each constituency will be represented in the National Council meeting. Apart from that, the Central Committee, Politburo, Standing Committee and other officials participate in the National Council meeting.

He also said that after that, according to the same statute, the leadership will be selected from the convention to be held in June.
