JUMLA, July 11: A mini-truck was set ablaze by an unidentified group at Khalanga on Tuesday morning.
The mini-truck (Na.2 Kha. 4602) was set on fire by sprinkling petrol in the driver's cabin, police said. The locals put out the fire and informed police.
Cadres of the band enforcers are suspected to have carried out the arson. However, Jumla secretary of Nepal Communist Party (Biplav), Birsha Bahadur Shahi refuted it.
Meanwhile, police has launched an investigation into the incident. The bandh called by the NCP brought traffic to a standstill in Jumla with academic institutions remaining shut as well. RSS
