KATHMANDU, Oct 17: United Nations (UN) Secretary General Antonio Guterres is going to visit Nepal on October 29.
At the invitation of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, UN Secretary General Guterres is scheduled to visit Nepal for four days.
Earlier, Secretary General Guterres' scheduled visit to Nepal was postponed due to changes in world politics.
Guterres' visit to Nepal scheduled for October 13 to October 16 was canceled after the Palestinian militant group Hamas attacked Israel.

PM Dahal’s private secretary Ramesh Malla said that the postponed visit will be held again from October 29 to November 1.
He said that UN Secretary General Guterres will discuss the issues raised by PM Dahal in the UN General Assembly during his visit.
PM Dahal spoke about Nepal's peace process at the UN, the impact of climate change and the role of other countries in the International Organisation for the Least Developed Countries (IOLDCs) and its upgradation.
During his visit to Nepal, Secretary General Guterres will communicate with the concerned parties on these issues.
There is a possibility of him communicating with the representatives of all relevant political parties in the government regarding the peace process. However, its schedule has not been decided yet.
Apart from that, the effects of climate change will be discussed and Secretary General Guterres will be given an aerial view of the Mount Everest region.
During the visit, Guterres will also address the Federal Parliament of Nepal on October 30.
