KATHMANDU, Nov 15: Resident Coordinator of the United Nations in Nepal Velerie Julliand on Thursday paid a courtesy call on Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) General Purna Chandra Thapa.

During the meeting held at the Nepal Army headquarters in Bhadrakali, CoAS General Thapa and envoy Julliand discussed issues related to bilateral interest and mutual ties between the Nepal Army and the United Nations, the Directorate of Public Relations and Information of under the NA said in a press statement issued today.
