JHAPA, August 7: CPN (UML) senior leader Jhalanath Khanal has said that the country is celebrating this year as the election year.
At a press meet at Birtamod of Jhapa today, leader Khanal said that election fever has gripped the country to conclude the remaining task of constitution implementation.

In another context, the UML leader said the UML became the first party in first and second round of local-level election and that it will retain the position in the third round as well.
Also the former Prime Minister, Khanal said that his party would be the first party in third round of polls slated in province no 2 for September, and that no one could stop it from becoming victorious.
Leader Khanal said that the polls would be held in time at any cost. He also accused the government of dillydallying to announce date of provincial and federal elections. RSS
