In course of the campaign, the representatives will also elicit public opinion about the party and collect suggestions from the people at the grassroots.

Among other things, the central representatives have also been asked to assess political trend and collect information regarding development activities in each of the constituencies after the 2008 Constituent Assembly (CA) election.

Likewise, the representatives will also collect suggestions on scientific delineation of constituencies. The government has already started preparations for the formation of Election Constituency Delineation Commission.

Each of these teams will comprise at least 20 members, including the central representatives and will offer suggestions to the party central committee on whether the party needs to form an election alliance.

The party´s central committee members, office bearers, chiefs of the party´s sister wings, members of National Representative Council and secretaries of all zonal coordination committees have been named as central representatives.

The UML already started the campaign in Kathmandu from Friday.
