A group of 10 to 15 CPN-Maoist cadres vandalized Shankar Pokhrel’s jeep, Na 2 Cha 2734, being parked near Tulsipur Bus Park while Pokharel was addressing a mass meeting, said DSP Tul Bahadur Karki of Tulsipur Area Police Office. [break]
The windshield of the jeep was smashed before the police took hold of 3 vandals. However, no attack against the election mass meeting has been reported.
UML candidate Pokharel is contesting elections to the Constituent Assembly from Dang Constituency -4.
