KATHMANDU, Nov 23: CPN-UML candidate Gokarna Bista has won the election to the House of Representatives from Gulmi-2.

Bista won with 28,476 votes. His closest rival, Ram Kumari Jhankri, a candidate of the Nepal Communist Party, ( Unified Socialist), received 26,442 votes.
Bista defeated Jhankri by a margin of 2,034 votes.
