KASKI, Dec 8: "The Resolution Journey for the Prosperity of Jhulaghat-Chiwabhanjyang'' campaign launched by the CPN-UML has arrived in Pokhara. Party Central Chair and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli formally inaugurated the campaign for Pokhara today by paying tribute to the Nepal Communist Party's founder Pushpalal Shrestha at Nuwarathok in Pokhara Metropolis-7. He wreathed the statue of Shrestha.
The party’s Senior Vice Chairman Ishwor Pokhrel, Vice Chairman Bishnu Poudel, General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel and Deputy General Secretary Prithvi Subba Gurung are among those leaders joining the event.
Sticking with New Year’s resolution
According to Oli, the event aims to further strengthen democratic practices, conduct and system. "It has proven effective in promoting nationality, good governance and prosperity."
