Tilak Mahat, among others has been recommended from constituency number 2, while various other candidates have been recommended from constituency number 3, 4, 5 and 6. "We have recommended Chaudhary´s name from two constituencies under FPTP," said the party´s leaders in Rupandehi.[break]
Meanwhile, Youth Front, student wing of the Mahanth Thakur-led Tarai-Madhes Democratic Party (TMDP), has padlocked the party´s district office in Janakpur. "The expansion of the Central Committee (CC) has failed to ensure the proper representation of youth leaders from Dhanusha," claimed the agitating leaders.
Spokesperson of Tarai Madhes Students´ Front Sambhu Nirdoshi said, "We padlocked the party´s office after noticing that the youth leaders were not selected as election candidates from Dhanusha." He further accused the party leadership of being biased toward youth leaders.
Nirdoshi also claimed that the party was engaged in caste-based politics.
Meanwhile, Madhesi People´s Right Forum-Nepal (MPRF-N) has recommended its three leaders of hill-origin as candidates from Rupandehi. "Chhaya Sharma from constituency number 1, Govinda Prasad Dhakal from constituency number 2 and Madan Gurung under Proportional electoral system," said party insiders. They have said that their party was not a party to represent Madhesi community only. "We are taking initiative to give the party a national shape by ensuring the represntation of different communities," said Mahendra Yadav, Chairman of Bhairahawa district Chapter of the party.
Likewise, Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar-led MPRF-D has also recommended the candidates´ name from Panchthar district aiming to expand the party structure even in Hill constituencies.
