Addressing a function organized by the party´s valley special coordination committee in Kathmandu, Chairman Jhalanath Khanal instructed cadres to actively participate in election campaign and help the party emerge as the largest political force in the polls.[break]
He emphasized unity among democratic forces that share common ideologies in the CA election to ensure democratic constitution drafting process.
The party also demanded cancellation of all appointments and transfers made by the Baburam Bhattarai-led government. The leaders also directed the party rank and file to actively participate in voter registration process.
Meanwhile, the party has scheduled a valley-level gathering of cadres for April 5 as part of the party´s election campaign. Senior leaders, including the chairman, are scheduled to address the gathering.
