BARA, April 3: CPN-UML candidate Purushottam Paudel has registered his candidature for the by-election of Bara-2.
Paudel registered his candidacy at the Office of the Chief Returning Officer established at the office of the District Coordination Committee in Kalaiya.
Chief Electoral Officer Mukesh Upadhyaya has said that Paudel has registered his candidacy with Bandana Singh as his supporter and Balbir Chaudhary as proposer.
Earlier, Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Chairman Upendra Yadav, Aam Janata Party's Arun Kumar, Hamro Nepali Party’s Chandra Prakash Subedi, Nepal Workers and Peasants’ Party’s Mukti Yadav and two independent candidates, Dhuplal Hazra and Vinod Kumar Karn have registered their candidacies.
