UML leader Mahat no more

KATHMANDU, Nov 7: CPN UML leader Dilli Bahadur Mahat died during the course of his treatment at Manmohan Memorial Hospital late Wednesday morning. He was suffering from brain hemorrhage and was undergoing medical treatment at the hospital.



Mahat, who hailed from Jumla,  was the party´s central committee member and had also served as state  minister in the Madhav Kumar Nepal-led government in the past.



His body has been kept at the party central office premises in Balkhu and his last rites will be performed today itself, informed Surya Thapa, secretary at the UML publicity department.



The UML leader leaves wife and a daughter behind.
