KATHMANDU, July 6: CPN-UML leader and former Prime Minister, Madhav Kumar Nepal, today said his party's policy was for forming a national consensus government.

In a press briefing at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) after arriving from International Conference of Communist and Labor Party held in Vietnam, Nepal said an alternative for a majority government cannot be a majority-led government. The three major parties should make a joint effort for national government, he added.

He added the non-resident Nepali diaspora in foreign countries were looking to invest in Nepal if the government brought peace, political stability and provided investment security guarantee.

Nepal said drawing investment in the country could bring infrastructure development and create employment opportunities. RSS
