KATHMANDU, July 12: The ruling partner CPN (UML) has reached to a conclusion that there would be maximum consent among the parties extending positive support to the constitution drafting process regarding the new budget.

A meeting of the party standing committee held at the Singhadurbar-based parliamentary party office agreed to talk to the Prime Minister and the Finance Minister in a bid to create atmosphere conducive for bringing the budget on the basis of maximum political agreement, said party Publicity Department Chief Yogesh Bhattarai.

Party Chair KP Sharma Oli apprised the meeting of the latest progress on the constitution-drafting. The meeting was univocal on promulgating the consensus-based constitution within the last week of July or the first week of August, he said.

The government is scheduled to present the budget for the new fiscal year (2015/016) on coming Tuesday. RSS
