KATHMANDU, Aug 26: The ruling CPN-UML has called a Secretariat meeting for the upcoming Thursday at the party’s headquarters in Chyasal, Lalitpur.
On Sunday, the UML held a meeting, chaired by General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, to set the agenda for the Secretariat meeting.

The meeting finalized the party's annual work plan and the agenda of current political issues for the Secretariat meeting.
It is reported that General Secretary Pokharel, along with deputy general secretaries, secretaries, and office secretaries, participated in the meeting.
