Briefing the media about the meeting, Party Vice-Chair Brishesh Chandra Lal said the party hoped that its demands would get addressed to some extent by the constitution amendment and it wanted this to happen before the local polls.

The meeting discussed about the current political imbroglio in the country, as said by the party vice chair. "The UDMF wants the enforcement of the constitution and has adopted flexibility to create a base for so," he added.

The meeting, accusing the Local Body Restructuring Commission of failing to work in line with the spirit of the constitution, ended with the decision of meeting tomorrow again and unveiling its decisions tomorrow itself through a press meet. RSS
