UDMF cadres vandalize ambulance with patient inside

BIRATNAGAR, Nov 21: The agitating cadres of the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) have vandalized an ambulance in Dubahi on Saturday. The UDMF cadres vandalized the ambulance while it was heading to Dharan from Biratnagar carrying a patient today.

Ambulance driver Ananda BK has sustained injuries in the attack. He is undergoing treatment at Biratnagar-based City Hospital. BK has received a deep cut near his right eye, said Dr Sital Kumar Yadav attending to BK. He said, "There is a two-and-half-inches deep cut near his right eye. We are carrying out test to determine whether there is an internal injury."

The windshield of the ambulance with registration no Ko 1 Cha 3615 has been badly damaged in the attack.


According to driver BK, the cadres attacked before he could take the on ventilator patient out of the ambulance.

The UDMF cadres have attacked the ambulance in Dubahi while it was heading to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences carrying patient referred by Biratnagar-based Golden Hospital.
