The group exploded the bomb on the roof of the party office and there was a minor damage, said police.
Security personnel of the Nepal Army, Armed Police Force and Nepal Police reached the incident site after hearing the sound of the blast.
No one has taken the responsibility of the blast. Security arrangement has been made stricter in Dhankuta after the incident.
