Seema Oli, one of the two Maoist cadres who were staying in the office during the blast, sustained injuries in her ear. Windowpanes, doors and the walls of the office were damaged in the explosion.
Owning up to the attack, Singh said they blasted the office as the UCPN (Maoist) conspired to divide the Tarai.
Maoist´s joint district in-charge IP Kharel said it was done by a criminal group with an intention to disrupt the constitution writing and peace processes.
