The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said he was here with a letter of Dubai Governor expressing gratitude over Nepal´s support of UAE proposal for World Expo to be organised in Dubai in 2020.
The minister is scheduled to meet Chairman of the Interim Council of Ministers Khilraj Regmi, Home and Foreign Minister Madhav Prasad Ghimire and Minister for Labor Chhabiraj Pant separately. Minister Ghimire will host a luncheon tomorrow in honor of the UAE delegation.
Some 150,000 Nepalese work in UAE now and working in construction, security, among others and earn Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 30,000 per month on average.
Nepal and UAE had diplomatic relations established in January 1977. Both countries have shown interest in co work in trade, economic cooperation, investment and tourism promotion.
