Labor Minister Bhandari to be dismissed from his post amid UAE visit

KATHMANDU, March 4: Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security, Sharat Singh Bhandari is going to be dismissed from his post while on a visit to the UAE. Minister Bhandari is currently in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).


On Monday, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal agreed to form a new alliance with parties including the CPN-UML, and Labor Minister Bhandari is about to lose his post while he is still abroad.

The minister, who returned to Nepal in the first week of February after participating in the Abu Dhabi Dialogue, went on a visit to the UAE again two weeks later. He has reached the UAE for the inauguration of the "Dubai Employment Fair" organized by the Foreign Employment Association on Sunday.


According to ministry sources, Labor Minister Bhandari is scheduled to return to Nepal on Tuesday. However, Prime Minister PM Dahal has prepared to reshuffle the Council of Ministers by removing all the ministers on Monday.
