Malaysia elected to bat first and was all out for 104 runs in 19.1 overs. Suresh Navaratnam scored 56 runs off 46 balls as he struck three boundaries and two sixes. [break]

Man-of-the-match Khurram Khan was brilliant with the ball for the UAE as he took four wickets bowling four overs and giving away only eight runs. Ahmed Raza, Nasir Aziz and Shadeep Silva grabbed two wickets each.
The UAE met the low total with ease. Amjad Ali scored unbeaten 64 runs off 35 balls to guide the UAE to victory in just 9.5 overs. Ali hit seven boundaries and four sixes. Faizan Asif scored 21 runs off 15 balls while Bakthiyar Palekar added unbeaten 17 runs off 9 balls. Asif was the only batsman to get out.
Kuwait finishes seventh
Kuwait pulled off a huge 82-run victory over the Maldives on Friday and remained in the seventh position of the ACC Twenty20 Cup.
On the Engineering Campus Ground, Kuwait elected to bat first and put up a mammoth 199 in 20 overs losing only five wickets. Opener Mohammed Asghar scored 55 runs off 26 balls as he struck six boundaries and three sixes.
Saud Qamar remained the top-scorer with unbeaten 58 runs off 37 balls. Qamar hit five sixes and two boundaries. Mohamed Rifkas (28 runs off 28 balls) and Azmatullah Nazeer (unbeaten 25 runs off 12 balls) were the other major contributors.
In reply, the Maldives were all out for 117 runs in 19.3 overs. Moosa Kaleem (27 off 29 balls) and Mohamed Mahfooz (23 runs off 17 balls) were the top-scorers for the Maldives team. Haroon Shahid took three wickets while Azmatullah Nazeer and Abdullah Akhunzada claimed two wickets each.
Man-of-the-match Mohammed Asghar and Yasar Idrees grabbed a wicket each.
