KATHMANDU, Feb 3: Nepal lost to India by 132 runs in the Under-19 World Cup Super Six match held on Friday at the Mangaung Oval Cricket Ground in South Africa.
After winning the toss, India chose to bat first, posting a target of 298 runs against Nepal at the loss of five wickets in their allotted 50 overs.
In reply, Nepal was limited to 165 runs in 50 overs at the loss of nine wickets.

For Nepal, Captain Dev Khanal scored 33 runs off 53 balls with two boundaries while Durgesh Gupta was not out with 29. Openers Arjun Kumal and Deepak Bohora contributed 26 and 22 respectively and Akash Chand added 18.
In India's victory, Saumya Pandey took four wickets and Arshin Kulkarni took two followed by one each by Raj Limbani, Aradhya Shukla and Murugan Abhishek.
In the first inning, Sachin Das emerged as the top scorer for India, contributing 116 runs in just 101 balls, including 11 fours and three sixes. Captain Uday Saharan also played a crucial innings, making 100 runs off 97 balls, with nine boundaries.
Adarsh Sinha added 21 runs, Priyanshu Moliya scored 19, and Arshin Kulkarni contributed 18 , while Musahar Khan scored 9.
For Nepal, Gulshan Jha was the standout performer, claiming three wickets, while Aakash Chand secured one wicket.
