Vice-chariperson of Janamukti Nari Morcha, Mirik Area, Anjana Basnet and its central committee member Bindu Tolangi died in the accident that occurred while they were on the way back to Nepal from Darjeeling, confirmed Area Police Office, Pashupatinagar.
The vehicle they were travelling had fallen 300 meters down from the road. The seriously injured are being treated.
Police guessed that the accident might have taken place when the vehicle went uncontrolled due to high speed.
