Two new VW models in Nepal

KATHMANDU, Aug 3: Pooja International Nepal Pvt Ltd launched the new Amarok and Tiguan in Kathmandu on Thursday. 

Issuing a press release,  the distributor said the Amarok, built on a robust ladder-frame chassis and encased in Volkswagen build-quality, comes with smart technology and design.
The Amarok’s 2.0-liter TDI Biturbo engine sets new standards in terms of power, torque, fuel economy, and carbon dioxide emissions.

The new car has transferrable all-wheel drive systems along with driver assistance features like off-road ABS and ESP that provide it with traction and safe handling in all terrain types. 
The new Tiguan is based on the modern MQB platform and is powered with an efficient 2.0-liter TSI and TDI engine mated to a supple 7 speed automatic-DSG gearbox.

The New Tiguan delivers peak power of 180 PS/132KW with 320Nm of torque, and 150PS/105KW with 340Nm of torque respectively. 

Tiguan was launched in Nepal in 2010. More than 350 Tiguans have been sold in Nepal till date.
