NEPALGUNJ, Feb 1: Two Nepalis died and three others were injured when a jeep heading to Lucknow of India met with an accident in Risiya of Baharaich district, Uttar Pradesh, India today.
Munbbar Halwai of Nepalgunj and Roshan Shah of Tikapur in Kailali died in the road accident, Police Inspector Rana Bahadur Bista said.
The accident took place after the jeep bearing the number of UP 40 X 6814 collided with a stationed truck (UP 21 AN 7062), it is said.
Ibrahim Halwai of Nepalgunj, and Sangram Shah and Amun Khadka of Kathmandu have sustained serious injuries in the incident. Of the injured, Ibrahim is receiving treatment at a Lucknow-based hospital while Shah and Khadka are being treated in Baharaich.
