These days I’m seeing trends in social media putting status like I am fond of my thousand dreams (malai ti mera hajar sapanaharuko maya lagera aauchha ).

Palmo Ghising, 43, lives in Dimi Pokhari, Ramechap. She runs a small shop and hotel. Palmo got married at the age of 15. She has two sons and a daughter who is living in the city. She used to stay in Kathmandu.  Now, she has returned to her birthplace.

48-year-old Mahi Narayan Ram is a cobbler. His roadside stall, at Sundhara, consists of a mat, shoe soles, laces, shoe polish, and a wooden box. Ram is originally from Saptari and has been working in the capital since 1985.
