They drowned in the canal while taking a bath at around 12:30pm.
The missing women have been identified as 50-year-old Dharmi Devi Mahato of Budhariya in Kudia VDC-6 of Nawalparasi and her daughter Dambar Kumari.
Police said a search for the missing women is on.
