Two killed, one injured as fire breaks out in Dolakha

DOLAKHA, Oct 26 : Two members of a family were killed and another injured after a fire broke out at a house at Gaurishanker Rural Municipality in Dolakha on Thursday night.

DOLAKHA, Oct 26 : Two members of a family were killed and another injured after a fire broke out at a house at Gaurishanker Rural Municipality in Dolakha on Thursday night.


DSP Basudev Pathak at District Police Office told Republica Online that 80-year-old Dalaki Sherpa and her 9-year-old grandson Mingmadorje Sherpa lost their lives after the fire broke out in their house at around 12 midnight.


Fursang Sherpa, 15, has been airlifted to Kathmandu for further treatment, who was seriously injured in the incident, police said.

The trio was in deep sleep when the fire broke out in their house at Tasinam, a remote village in northern Dolakha. The police have yet to ascertain the cause of the incident.
