GULMI, Dec 27: Two people died after being hit by a truck at Masinekhola in Resunga Municipality-13 in Gulmi district on Sunday morning.
The deceased have been identified as 23-year-old Balkrishna Bhutel and 24-year-old Top Bahadur Rajali of Resunga Municipality-13.

According to police, the truck (Na. 5 Kha. 3204) was heading towards Tamghas of Gulmi from Butwal when it ran over the two youths. “Both the youths died on the spot,” Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Gulmi Prabin Lal Shrestha, said.
Truck driver Gopal Tandon has been taken into police custody for further investigation. Police said they are investigating the incident.
