Two killed in motorcycle accident in Bara

BARA, Dec 23: A motorcycle accident in Bara has resulted in the loss of two lives. The incident took place on the Dudhaura River bridge under the Kalaiya-Birgunj postal highway on Saturday.

The deceased have been identified as Kundan Mehta from Ward-13 of Kalaiya Sub-Metropolitan City and Abhimanu Kushwaha from Ward-12 Sitalpur of the same sub-metropolis.

According to Bara Police Spokesperson Dadhiram Neupane, the accident occurred as a motorcycle with registration number Ma Pra 03-030-Pa 4398, traveling from Kalaiya towards Birgunj, collided with the left side pillar of the Dudhaura Bridge. Both riders on the motorcycle sustained severe injuries.

Neupane said both of them succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
