The deceased have been identified as Prabhu Roy, 22, and Rakesh Roy, 30, of Hatpatgunj VDC-9 in the district. The over speeding motorcycle with the registration number Na 3 Pa 3588 had collided with a tree along East-West Highway section of the road at Netragunj at about 1 pm. While Prabhu died on the spot, Rakesh died while undergoing treatment at Narayani Sub-Regional Hospital, Birgunj, on Saturday morning.
