Two killed in ambulance-tractor collision

ITAHARI, Sept 4: Two persons including a patient were killed when an ambulance and a tractor collided head-on at Simariya, Sunsari along the Duhabi-Inaruwa road section on Saturday.

ITAHARI, Sept 4: Two persons including a patient were killed when an ambulance and a tractor collided head-on at Simariya, Sunsari along the Duhabi-Inaruwa road section on Saturday. 



According to police, patient Saroj Yadav, 20, and driver Ananda Khadgi, 26, of Golbazar were killed when the ambulance, Sa 1 Cha 894, and the tractor, Ko 1 Ta 179, collided at around 8 pm last evening. 



Yadav breathed his last while receiving treatment at Koshi Zonal Hospital, while Khadgi died on his way to the hospital.



Area Police Office, Duhabi said that four others were injured in the mishap and are being treated at the same hospital.
