Two killed in a violent clash between two groups in Dholahiti area in Lalitpur; 18 in police custody

LALITPUR, March 25: Two people have been killed in Dholahiti, Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality-26.


Superintendent of Police (SP) Naresh Raj Subedi said that two people were killed in a clash between two groups at around 9 o'clock in the night.

“After transporting the injured to Patan Hospital at 11 o'clock at night, the police were informed about the incident. Several individuals were promptly apprehended and are currently undergoing interrogation at the scene. The cause of the incident remains undisclosed,” he said.


SP Subedi said that among the deceased are 28-year-old Rowas Rai, originally from Dharan in Sunsari district and now living in Dholahiti and 30-year-old Pujan Rai, originally from Panchthar district and currently living in Khumaltar.
