Nirmaya Pulami, 27, and her daughter Anupa Pulami, 10, of the VDC were killed using a domestic weapon while they were sleeping in their house, according to police Inspector Prem Sagar KC at the Dhading District Police Office.
He said the assailants had entered the house from the roof.
They even attacked 10-month-old Karisma, daughter of Nirmaya, and left her in critical condition. Karisma has been undergoing treatment at the District Hospital after her treatment in the local hospital was not possible.
Police, after preliminary investigations, said the group might have killed the woman after raping her. Police have intensified search for the killers.
