SINDHULI, May 30: Two children have died due to snake bite in Sindhuli. Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Sindhuli, Raj Kumar Silwal said that the deceased have been identified as 13-year-old Greece Pahadi and his younger brother, three-year-old Grisma Pahadi of Kurthauli, Dudhauli Municipality-1.
A snake had bitten the two siblings at 3 am on Tuesday when they were in bed. They were taken to the Primary Health Centre Sirthauli for treatment. From there, they were taken to Janaki Health Care Janakpur for further treatment where they died in course of treatment, according to the police.
The snake had bitten Greece in a finger of his left hand and Grisma on his left leg.
