A police squad from Metropolitan Police Crime Division, Lalitpur, arrested Anil Pandey and Laxman Gurung in connection with the murder of 61-year-old Thokki Silwal. [break]
According to an initial investigation, the two stoned Silwal to death before making off with gold jwelries worth Rs 81,000, police said at a press conference on Monday.
A further investigation into the case is underway.
