Two found dead in Budhanilkantha

Two people were found dead in Budhanilkantha Municipality-4, Pasikot, inside the compound of Three Star Kids Zone School.

KATHMANDU, June 15: Two people were found dead in Budhanilkantha Municipality-4, Pasikot, inside the compound of Three Star Kids Zone School.


According to the District Police Range (DPR), Kathmandu, the bodies of a man and a woman were discovered inside a two-and-a-half-story house. The bodies were found on Friday night.

The deceased have been identified as Param Narayan Gill, 54, from Chandigarh, Punjab, and Anjana Tamang, 28, of Galchhi Rural Municipality-6, Dhading. Police said that there were visible injuries on Anjana's head. Police reported that Anjana had visible injuries on her head, while Param was found lying dead on the floor of the same room without any external injuries.


An iron hammer was recovered from the scene, police said.


An investigation team, including relevant police officials, has been deployed at the scene. The Kathmandu DPR stated that the process of conducting a forensic examination of the bodies has been initiated.
