Teenagers duo, Sajan Subba (18) and Abhishek Acharya (17) of Anarmani-3 died in the road accident, according to Area police Office, Birtamod. [break]
Subba breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Birtamod-based Kankai Hospital while Acharya died on the way to Siliguri of India.
They sustained critical injuries after the scooter they were riding collided with a tree going beyond the control at Mahananda Chowk in Arjundhara-8.
The accident took place when the scooter (Me 3 Pa 9352) was heading to Shanischare from Arjundhara, police confirmed.
