Nirvik Rokaya, 18, and Navarata Raut, 17 were buried under the landslide while they were collecting red mud to paint their homes for the Dashain festival. Three other youths, who were injured in the incident, are receiving treatment at Kohalpur Medical College.
Man shot dead
Meanwhile, 46-year-old man was shot dead by his neighbor at Phikkal of Ilam district on Thursday night.
Police Inspector Jagannath Gautam of the District Police office, Ilam, said Tara Bahadur Lapcha shot dead Narendra Shrestha while they were returning home from a fair.
Shrestha died while undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.
Police said Lapche has been absconding and search for him was underway.
