Two die in motorcycle accident in Chitwan

CHITWAN, Sept 21: Two people died in a motorcycle accident in Narayanghat on Saturday.

The accident occurred at around 1:15 AM near Lila Chowk, Bharatpur-2, when a motorcycle (Ba Pra 06-002 P 3145) heading from Shaheed Chowk towards Pokhara Bus Park lost control and crashed, the District Police Office, Chitwan, reported.

The deceased have been identified as 26-year-old Rabin Thapa from Congress Chowk, Gaindakot-5 in Nawalpur, and 40-year-old Purna Bahadur Gurung from Dudhpokhari Rural Municipality-6 in Lamjung.

Thapa, the rider, and Gurung, the pillion rider, were critically injured and taken to Chitwan Medical College, Bharatpur, where they were pronounced dead during treatment.
