CHITWAN, Aug 19: Senior Constable of Nepal Police Hemant Kumar Shrestha, 43, working at the Area Police Office, Manhari in Makwanpur, has died in a motorcycle accident in Khairahani Municipality in Chitwan.

According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, Shrestha, a resident of Dhamilikuwa, Rainas Municipality–6, Lamjung, was seriously injured this morning when a motorcycle (Ba Pra 03–003 Pa 637), traveling from Manhari to Kholesimal, met with an accident near Baba Petrol Pump in Khairahani-8.
Injured Shrestha was immediately taken to Chitwan Medical College, Bharatpur, where he breathed his last, police said. According to police, further investigation into the accident is underway regarding the motorcycle accident.
