MAKWANPUR, May 4: Two persons were killed in a motorcycle accident along the Hetauda-Kulekhani-Kathmandu road.
The motorcycle (Bagmati Province 02020 Pa 4237) heading to Hetauda from Kathmandu skidded off the road and met with an accident at Jurikhet of Bhimphedi Rural Municipality-6 in Makawanpur district on Wednesday evening, said the district police office.

The dead have been identified as the motorcycle rider, Lalbabu Sahani Mallaha, 25, and the pillion rider Rabindra Mandal, both of them from Pasauni Municipality-5 in Bara district. Mallaha died at Hetauda Hospital, and Mandal on the spot, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Tek Bahadur Karki.
