The deceased are 21-year-old Kaladhar Bhandari of Dayanagar VDC-1, Rupandehi district and 23-year-old Amrit Ghimire of Mahendrakota VDC, Kapilbastu district, according to police.

Meanwhile, a woman died and seven locals were injured in an attack by robbers at Rudrapur VDC-1, Rupandehi district, Thursday night.
Fifty-eight years old Dhan Kumari Thapa died in the attack by robbers while retaliating against a group of robbers at her house, police said.
A group of about 12 armed robbers had robbed Gir Bahadur Thapa’s house at the village. Their physical appearance looked like Indian. They detonated an Improvised Explosive Device at the house and looted Rs. 150,000 from the house.
The injured are undergoing treatment at the Lumbini Zonal Hospital, Butwal.
