Two-day gathering of NC District Presidents concludes endorsing a 14-point internal commitments

KATHMANDU, July 8: A two-day gathering of Nepali Congress (NC) district presidents concluded on Friday, unanimously approving a set of 14-point internal commitments. 

During the gathering initiated by NC Central Office, NC General Secretary duo, Gagan Kumar Thapa and Biswo Prakash Sharma, expressed their dedication to deliberating on the recommendations received from the meeting at the central level of the party. They further pledged to present these recommendations in the upcoming Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting, as necessary.

Dr Pradeep Parajuli, the acting chief secretary of the party office, shared that the district presidents, including Yogendra Panjiyar (Dhanusha), Rup Narayan Jabegu (Panchthar), Dinesh Rai (Dhankuta), Bishnu Kumar Rai (Khotang), Kishor Dutta Baral (Kaski), Kedar Bhandari (Sunsari), Rajeswar Khanal (Chitwan), Kesh Bahadur Bista (Salyan), Nageswar Yadav (Mahottari), Arun Prakash Singh Rathor (Bardiya), and Ramesh Kumar Mahat (Nuwakot), expressed their opinions during the meeting.

Furthermore, in the absence of district presidents, acting district president Jhapendra Gaire (Palpa), vice president Bir Bahadur Bista (Baitadi), secretaries Baldeep Kandel (Surkhet), Ajaya Luintel (Okhaldhunga), Keshabraj Mishra (Kailali), Guptanidhi Sharma (Parbat), and Madhav Prasad Dhakal (Kavre), along with representatives Mukesh Singh (Bara) and Nirmala Khadka (Bhojpur), shared their perspectives in the meeting, as per NC sources.
