Two COVID-19 patients die in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, Sept 2: Two COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj died on Tuesday.

KATHMANDU, Sept 2: Two COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj died on Tuesday.



According to the Corona Focal person of the hospital, Dr Sabin Thapaliya, a 20-year old girl from Tanahun and a 75-year old man from Maitidevi in Kathmandu succumbed to COVID-19.

The deceased girl was suffering from Asthma and Kidney diseases. She was admitted at the hospital for treatment on September 1.


Likewise, the old man was a patient of high blood pressure and was admitted at the hospital on August 31. Both of them were being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.
