UDAYAPUR, Nov 3: Two individuals have been arrested in Udayapur for allegedly trafficking illegal drugs concealed in their rectum.
According to the District Police Office, they were apprehended on Sunday evening at around 5 PM from Paitalis Chowk in Basa Badelpani, Chaudandigadhi Municipality-4, while heading towards an undisclosed location.
Two arrested with illegal drugs in Tanahun
The arrested have been identified as 24-year-old Parshuram Timilsina of Chaudandigadhi-7 and 23-year-old Bibek Rai of Chaudandigadhi-6. A police team deployed from the Area Police Office, Beltar, intercepted the duo, who were travelling on foot, on suspicion. Upon inspection, the drugs were discovered hidden in their rectum.
Police stated that an X-ray at Chaudandigadhi Municipal Hospital confirmed the presence of the narcotics. A total of 33 ampoules of banned drugs were recovered — 15 from Timilsina and 18 from Rai.
Both individuals have been taken into custody at the Area Police Office, Beltar for further investigation, informed DSP Kedar Man Dong, spokesperson for the District Police Office.
