POKHARA, Oct 26: District Police Office, Kaski has arrested two youths on charge of their involvement in human trafficking and smuggling.
The arrested have been identified as Suresh Tamang, 42, of Birauta in Pokhara Metropolitan City Ward No. 17 and Rishi Bhatta, 26, of Kolbi in Bara District.
Police have accused Tamang and Bhatta of sexually abusing two women at Hotel Dreamland in Pokhara Metropolitan City Ward No. 6 Lakeside. They had been sexually abusing the women by threatening to sack them from their jobs.
Police have rescued the victim and handed them over to their relatives after consulting a psychiatrist.
According to Spokesperson at the District Police Office, Kaski, DSP Subash Hamal, Kaski District Court has extended 10 days remand for arrested Tamang and Bhatta. They have been charged for their involvement in human trafficking and smuggling case .
