Two arrested on charge of assaulting teacher in Arghakhanchi

ARGHAKHANCHI, Feb 12: Two individuals have been arrested on charges of assaulting a teacher in Malarani Rural Municipality, Arghakhanchi. The arrested individuals, Hukum Khadka and Nareshwar Pandey, are accused of assaulting Rajendra Panthi, the principal of Bal Shiksha Secondary School in Malarani-8.

ARGHAKHANCHI, Feb 12: Two individuals have been arrested on charges of assaulting a teacher in Malarani Rural Municipality, Arghakhanchi. The arrested individuals, Hukum Khadka and Nareshwar Pandey, are accused of assaulting Rajendra Panthi, the principal of Bal Shiksha Secondary School in Malarani-8.


A case has been filed against the arrested individuals for assaulting and behaving indecently by stopping Principal Panthi’s motorcycle as he was heading to school from home. DSP Pratit Singh Rathore at the District Police Office, Arghakhanchi, stated that the incident is under investigation following the arrest of the two individuals.

Several professional organizations in the district, including the Nepal Teachers Association, Nepal National Teachers Organization, and Unified All Nepal Teachers Association, have issued a joint statement condemning the incident. The statement alleges that teachers were assaulted and treated indecently while going to school.
